A simple skirt - S4074

Last year I bought this beautiful knit floral fabric off ebay.  I can't remember what vendor I bought it from, but I thought it was so pretty.  I debated over what style skirt to make, but I finally settled on something very simple.  I used the skirt pattern from S4074.
It is a super simple pattern with an elastic waist.  I decided to keep it simple since the fabric is so busy and I wanted the fabric to be the feature anyway.  I made it exactly according to the pattern with no alterations, and it is probably the easiest and quickest garment I have ever made.  Instant gratification!!!
Here is how I wore the skirt in an outfit:
Mustard yellow cardigan: Forever 21
Brown camisiole:  Walmart
Belt:  Forever 21
Pearl Cluster Necklace:  Forever 21
Riding boots:  by Rocket Dog purchased from Overstock

I am super excited because all of my fabric I posted about in my last post has arrived.  I can't wait to get started sewing it up.

I think simple is best when you want to show off some special fabric. I really like how you have styled the skirt here too, you look great.

That nice. I have this pattern from a million years ago and have never used it. One day I may make the wrap top and skirt combo.

This outfit looks just like everything came from Anthropologie. Right down to the belt. Was that the idea?

Laura,
Yes that was the idea. I just love the whole anthro look, but I can't always afford to buy it.

Thank you for stopping by. I love your outfit, jewelry and how you chose to wear the mustard yellow cardigan to bring the whole outfit together and make it pop. Your necklace is gorgeous!
