Minor

In August of 1997, my husband brought a sweet little 5 week old kitten from the Humane Shelter named Minor. This past Monday, I lost Minor to cancer. He was 15.5. I have owned lots of cats and he was the sweetest one I have ever owned. He loved everybody and thought everybody should love him. He was a great sewing assistant, as you can see in this picture of him sitting by my serger. He also liked to "help" me cut out patterns. He thought if he laid on top of the patterns while I was trying to cut them out that it would hold them down better :) He was such a huge part of mine and my husband's lives and we miss him. He had a long life and was much loved by me and my husband.

having lost our 13 year old dog in June I know how hard it is to say goodbye to these loving animals who give us so much and yet ask for so little in return. He was such a handsome cat.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I have been recently reunited with my kitty and remember how good of a friend he was to me. I'm sure yours was a great friend to you and yours.
It's hard to lose such a loveable, cuddly friend. He was a beauty, too. I'm so sorry for the loss of this pet/friend/family member.
My Loki, who is almost 2, looks a lot like him. When my 19 yo pure black Medieval died a little over a year ago, I thought I would wait a year before getting another kitty. I lasted a week, then brought Loki and his foster brother home. I'm not suggesting you go out and get another kitty. They are not replaceable. I'm just suggesting you keep your heart and yourself open. I'll keep you in my heart.
I am so sorry to hear about your sweet cat. He was beautiful and sounds like he was a sweetheart. My two kitties love to lay on patterns when I'm cutting them out too and help me. Hopefully another sweet kitty will come into your live in the future.
So sorry. I too had a sweet, loving kitty that loved his family and loved to be loved. He liked to keep my lap warm when I sewed. Your Minor was beautiful.

I'm so, so sorry to hear about Minor. He looked just like my kitty Leon. I'd imagine they had similar personalities, so I know just what you are missing. I know it's hard - hugs to you! Know that it does get better, though it takes time to remember the good times.
Sorry for your loss, it must be a great company for you, I have a dog and I can understand how much love can be a pet.

so sorry to hear this. My cats were never friendly, so it's so sweet he was loving.
